I have been busy crocheting and sewing this little gift set for a new baby boy in the family.

Following my last week "guess what" game I decided to post a photo on facebook with this gorgeous Liberty fabric and a metre of elastic. A lot of people did guess right and I made a maxi skirt! I have been away from home for the last few days but will take a photograph and post on here the finished product!

I enjoyed refashioning the scarf into a kimono last week that I decided to buy another scarf ( A real bargain at £2 from £6 in Primark!) I will be taking photographs and publish them in a how to make tutorial!

A walk in the countryside

Last weekend we spent the weekend camping in Hope Valley, Derbyshire. What a lovely weekend we had with the weather and the camera!
We met a lovely cat who joined on a little walk until he obviously stepped out of his territory!

I love flowers and the mingling of different colours of wild flowers are so pretty! I did take loads of photographs and getting grips to the "focus". Where I focussed on the flowers in back and fore ground to create blurred areas.

New blogger around

I am new in the world of blogging. I intend to stick around for a while but as I am learning I maybe quiet for a bit.

I recently had fun refashioning a scarf into a kimono. I want to inspire people that sewing is not difficult and crafting is fun! Crafting time brings fun into bonding time! Lazy Sundays for me and my child is a day crafting and not lazing on a sofa watching television! Crafting brings a whole world of fun and wild running of the imagination! I plan on showing you fun, quick, cheap and easy crafting!
